Praise!

The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:1

This morning I woke up with this verse on my mind.  This week has filled with anxiety over my granddaughter's health, my middle daughter's stressful move, and the million and one things I need to do. With this writing stuff, God pushes me so far out of my comfort zone that I can't even view it from here. Can I hear an "Amen!"

The verse continues to float through my mind with everything I do. Isn't that just like the Lord?

Growth in depth and strength and consistency and fruitfulness and ultimately in Christlikeness is truly possible when the winds of life are contrary to a person 's comfort.

Here's a verse I memorized awhile back and quote often.

Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you
                                                                                   Isaiah 54:10

Praise Be to the Lord!
